Prof. Lani Raider told me about the book Not Quite what I was Planning which asks people to tell their memoir in exactly 6 words. My challenge to you: tell me about meals with your family, in exactly six words.
Tough challenge. All I could think about is when my siblings are home and when our kitchen becomes this noisy intersection of people eating, planning to eat, hanging around, snacking, etc. So without further ado here are my 6 words:
My dad and I would go to Whole Foods or the butchers or farmers market and just look, think and come up with a menu for the day with no idea as to what we would do or search up new things and try at least one new technique or recipe (but make it ours of course) a weekend. That always made family meal fun.
My sandwich tastes like Stetson cologne.
